About me
I’m a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice moves between the concrete and the abstract, imprecision and control. Working primarily with watercolor, film, photography, and mixed media, I explore the tension that exists at the intersection of structure and intuition.
My work is deeply influenced by my experiences as a BIPOC woman and immigrant, often unfolding as a process of translating memory, identity, and belonging into visual language. I weave together fragments of everyday life, such as gestures, solitude, and the body, with (re)imagined narratives that question representation, visibility, and cultural decolonization. Each piece becomes a space where personal and collective histories overlap, creating new ways of seeing and being seen.
I hold a Master’s degree in World Arts from the University of Bern and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Living and working across cultures has profoundly shaped how I approach art, not only as an aesthetic expression but also as a tool for dialogue, resistance, and redefinition.
